WOOD TREATMENTS

We offer several wood treatments to protect the wood and enhance its quality. The treatments are realised on the customer’s demand. The artificial drying of the wood increases stability and resistance. The chemical impregnation process avoids attacks from damaging insects or fungal decay. The high temperature treatment is an ecological method to protect the wood.

Drying

Drying

On the customer’s demand, we artificially dry our wood to grant better stability and resistance. We have three vacuum driers at our disposal. This procedure upgrades the quality of the construction timber. Various drying cycles are applied, in accordance to the final humidity percentage rate that the customer demands.
Impregnation

Impregnation

Wood that has not been treated with a chemical substance may be attacked by damaging insects, fungal decay or blue stain.
Thermal Treatment

Thermal Treatment

We provide an IPPC high temperature treatment. The wood is heated to a temperature of 56C° for the duration of an hour. All biological life in the wood is extinguished through this ecological procedure - fungal decay and insects (xylophagous insects and their larvae) do not support the heat of the treatment.
